This equipment is imported from Italy coordⅢ. Installation and rough commissioning were done by Italian experts in July, including mechanical accuracy adjustment, electrical adjustment, software installation and adjustment, measuring accuracy of calibration equipment of applied laser interferometer (supervised and approved by Hunan Technology Supervision Bureau). It was put into service after verified to be qualified on Jan. 17, 2003. Its task is the measurement of geometric dimensions of various bogies of locomotives.

Main parameters: valid travel x=8000㎜；y=3500㎜；z=2000㎜. Resolution: 0.5 micrometer; space measuring accuracy e=8+9l/1000 micrometer; repeating accuracy of measuring head: 0.8 micrometer.
