DJJ1 (blue arrow) type EMU
 


"Blue Arrow", a high speed AC drive electric passenger train set of a new generation, is developed and manufactured by Zhuzhou Electric Locomotive Works, Zhouzhou Electric Locomotive Research Institute, Changchun Car Co., Ltd and Guangzhou Railway Group jointly in 2000 to meet the mass transit requirement of "Small formation, high density and high speed".

Electric transmission system of the locomotive adopts advanced IPM water cooling unit, asynchronous traction motor of 1225kW and microcomputer network control system in distribution type. Circuit design introduces modularized structure to achieve continuous performance of EMU after cutting off the failure part.

Regarding control system, two-stage train communication network is used: MVB for connection of interior equipment in the car and WTB for connection between different cars can implement multiple-unit coupling of two trains. Redundancy design (master loco preheated and redundancy input and output) is employed for control system to achieve higher reliability.

Regarding bogie, web type mono-block wheel, hollow shaft and traction motor semi-suspension structure are adopted. Furthermore, two-stage six-connecting-rod wheel set hollow shaft drive gear and post-positioned middle pull-push low flat traction rod are used. Axle disk brake device is employed for foundation brake, which has the function of ABS anti-slip.

Brake is of DK-1B type, which has the function of pneumatic-electric blend brake and train E-P brake and the function of automatic service brake cooperation with safety device as well.
